Kate Bosworth's festival collection for Topshop

This 16 piece collection designed by Topshop and inspired by Kate Bosworth emulates what we have all come to understand as quintessentially "Coachella". This style has been perfected by the almighty Bosworth herself. Having worked together for a Christmas campaign the collaboration continues. Her fiancĂ© shot both the campaign images and this short film "The Road to Coachella" starring the muse. The collection ranges from simple pieces that we all have in our wardrobe like denim shorts and plaid shirts but extends to more lust worthy items such as the orange suede mini dress and the silver maxi (my two personal favourites). There is a sense of nostalgia because there are 90s grungie pieces such as ripped blue denim jeans but also in the form of more delicate straps on tops and dresses and a gypsy undertone that I remember all too well from my J Lo "Ain't it funny" days. Whether you are hitting scorchers like Coachella or attending the festivals that are subject to more temperamental weather, there are great pieces to indulge in. Albeit a small collection and with some less than special tokens it is still worth perusing and enjoy the stand out pieces as well as angel wings and flower crowns. Obviously the quality of the clothes and design is fundamental but the quality of the images is rather superb. The photographs and indeed the video linked to the collection are divine.

These two dresses are my favourite. The silver one is just £50 while the orange is £110. Metallic's are going no where and the reflective finish gives this classic shape a more modern touch. This extremely nostalgic rusty orange coloured dress will inject life into your summer wardrobe. Wear now with ankle boots for that Kate-cool and embrace the sixties element of the shift with tights and platforms in the winter months. Which pieces are your absolute must-haves?
